WHS MONITOR, a subsidiary of a successful Canberra-based company, provides innovative cloud based OH&S compliance software. We are seeking an Operations Manager based in Canberra.

In this role you will develop, coach and manage our Sales and Customer Support Team. You work in conjunction with our Sales and Customer Support Management team to co-ordinate and direct your team to meet the organization's KPI’s. You will report to our Senior Management Team.

 Responsibility

  • Responsible for the hiring, performance management and continuous development of team members
  • Responsible and accountable for operational performance of the team and for delivering and exceeding operational metrics & sales targets
  • Ensure delivery of Customer KPIs/Sales targets including day to day service levels, customer experience, quality measures and compliance measures
  • Implementation of training, communication and engagement model to ensure all team members understand the expected performance targets Continuous implementation of operational best practice through interaction with the company sales and customer support management teamIdentifying and highlighting further opportunities for services and process improvements  
  • Reporting to senior management of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
  • Setting and reviewing of organizational / productivity objectives in managing client engagement

 

Required skills:

  • Operational or sales management experience where you have demonstrated productivity and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated performance management skills and knowledge
  • Highly developed organizational skills with demonstrated ability in improving processes and functionality
  • Previous experience in the management of client relationships
  • Experience in managing customer service and sales related fields e.g. sales operations, setting KPI’s and dispute resolution
  • Ability to manage daily sales team operations to ensure service delivery standards are met and maintained in line with regulations
  • Proven record in identifying growth and optimization opportunities within existing accounts or projects
  • Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence groups both internally and externally
  • Ability to identify key issues and develop strategies to address them for future operations
  • Analytical ability and data driven decision making
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through application of vision, words and actions
