The expanding business continues to innovate and develop products that gain market recognition and a strong end-user following.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager for a 12 month contract opportunity. You will work closely with the Marketing team to help develop campaigns and promotions for your execution to enhance visibility and adoption of the Company’s product and service offering, focusing on indirect customer channels. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake market research and identify new business opportunities within indirect customer channels
  • Execute strategic value propositions aligned to customer needs and business strategy
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to formulate attractive product and service solutions 
  • Develop promotional programs and prepare proposals
  • Identify marketing and customer trends and contribute to the development of new products
  • Produce sales and marketing reports and maintain CRM program.
  • Participate in exhibitions/trade shows and distributor product presentations.

Key Qualities

  • Previous success in a B2B business development role 
  • Proven sales and marketing experience and in developing and maintaining profitable relationships with existing and new customers
  • Experienced managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring success of future business opportunities
  • Ability to achieve budgeted sales and margins
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and time management skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer literacy
  • Self-motivated, energetic and ambitious
  • Full driver’s licence
