Your new company
A family run, highly successful manufacturing business based in Western Sydney. They are a firm market leader in their field, and employ over 130 people. Their products are displayed in multiple showrooms across NSW, and there is a very solid and warm customer portfolio of established residential builders that position them steadily, with the backing of a recognised brand. They do however, wish to grow in other market segments, and consolidate what they have already. There is an opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join the business and lead the team.
Your new role
As the Sales Manager, leading a team of 10, you will have the following responsibilities;
- Develop and strengthen relationships with the company’s key customers, mainly residential builder clients
- Analyse sales data and customer spend, to identify gaps and trends
- Implementation of sales processes and KPI’s that will improve internal sales processes
- Coach and mentor the current sales team on more proactive sales approaches as opposed to reactive
- Influence and drive a more collaborative, high performing, results driven culture
- Assist senior management in delivering on company objectives
- Identify new market segments and revenue opportunities for the organisation
- Report to senior management on budgets and forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject (Business/Construction/Manufacturing)
- 3 years plus experience of Sales Management experience
- A background in Construction or Manufacturing
- Demonstrated success of increasing sales revenue through leading a team and operationally
- A natural leader, with strong influencing skills and the ability to get buy in from sales professionals
- Prior experience of opening and developing new sales channels
