The Role
Reporting to the Regional Client Manager QLD - Express Parcels, you will be responsible for the management and retention of a select portfolio of customers whilst identifying growth opportunities across a range of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong, multi-level relationships with customers within your nominated portfolio
- Effective management of portfolio to gain maximum profitability in line with budgets
- Deliver accurate information to both Toll customers and internal operations
- Ensure customer records (including account plan, contact details and activities) are maintained within appropriate CRM tools
- Be involved in tender response preparation where appropriate for customers within your portfolio.
- Comply with documented internal procedures
- Promptly and effectively handle any customer complaints
- Deliver innovative, flexible services aligned to evolving customer needs
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Promote products and service of ISS Business Unit
Skills & Experience:
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager in the transport industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications and CRM tools
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Experience delivering client-focused/facing solutions
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Team player with a drive to succeed
