Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for Mobile Technology and the Hospitality Industry?

Our Client is a Canadian based company breaking into the Australian market with their exciting social ordering app that allows co-workers to network for a faster and convenient way of ordering their lunch from a variety of local restaurants and coffee shops. The Fast Food Industry is being revolutionized by technology, our Client is applying mobile technology and CRM to help local hospitality businesses interact with people the same way, making it faster and more efficient for customers to order and pay. Now, they are looking to recruit a target-driven, ambitious Business Development Manager for the Sydney CBD region. 

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing potential clients, fostering partnerships with local restaurants and coffee shops, and introducing the social ordering app and closing deals in a field-based sales role. 

Responsibilities will include;
  • Sourcing new business and developing relationships 
  • Pitching and closing accounts in a face-to-face environment 
  • Building a sales strategy for business within your territory
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all accounts 

The ideal Candidate will have;
  • A minimum of 3 years' sales experience in a face-to-face new business environment 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate deals and think on your feet 
  • Knowledge of start-up sales companies or the Hospitality Industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to take ownership of the sales cycle
  • Motivated and self-driven professional with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Innovative and creative personality, always looking for ways to improve and exceed targets
