Business Service, Executive

 

Job Purpose

The incumbent will support the Business Development and Client Management team in all aspects of account acquisition and maintenance to ensure maximum effectiveness of internal processes and communication and guarantee optimum service.

 

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Act as key contact to brokers and clients for defined book of business in relation to the quotation preparation and implementation setup stage
  • Take ownership of quotations by ensuring internal processes are followed and deadlines are met
  • Provide support to the Business Development team by ensuring that all new business cases are implemented accurately and in a professional manner
  • Provide pre-sale support in generating quotes and proposals
  • Resolve less complex customer issues
  • Identify improvement to prevent issues from re-occurring

     

    Experience Required

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales administrative functions
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a team environment
  • Used to meeting tight deadlines and managing priorities under pressure
  • Knowledge in Sales/Health Insurance or Brokerage background preferred

 

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • PC literate - solid knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good time management and able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership
