​As the full-time, People & Culture Generalist reporting directly to the Manager, People & Culture, you will be responsible for the provision of sound advice to frontline business leaders and staff on Employee Relations/Industrial Relations, Policy Compliance, Learning and development requirements as well as the provision of End to End Recruitment support to the business. You will have a proven track record in collaborating with others, a strong work ethic and a 'positive, can do’ attitude. You will be effective in managing a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a fast paced environment whilst being adaptable and flexible in your work approach.

​Key Responsibilities of the role will involve the following:

Recruitment: Provision of end to end recruitment support to the business including advertising, screening, interviewing and coordinating the offer of employment.

Performance Management: Assist with the roll-out of the Performance Development Review process within the business, in addition to managing poor performance in accordance with Policy and the Law.

Industrial Relations: Provide accurate & timely IR advice on Employment Contracts and the Enterprise Agreement. In addition, support the Enterprise Bargaining process (every 3 years).

Learning & Development: Identify employee learning needs working with the Learning & Development Consultant and Manager, People & Culture to implement effective learning solutions.

Remuneration & Benefits: Support the administration and implementation of the Annual Remuneration Review process.

P&C Projects: Participate and support the implementation of key P&C projects as required, including the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (every 3 years), Employee Engagement survey roll out (annual), Performance Development Review process (twice a year) as well as the corporate wardrobe project - uniforms are reviewed every 2 years.

General Administration / Coordination: Support the review of key P&C Policies, as well as supporting the general administrative requirements within the P&C team.

The successful candidate will require:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a HR / P&C Generalist or Advisor role
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of the Fair Work Act, relevant Employment and WHS legislations
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders on a multitude of levels
  • End to end recruitment experience
  • Ability to adapt and cope with strict deadlines and priorities
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable
