Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit organisation specialising in managing multiple, nationwide projects. Greenfleet was Australia’s first carbon offset provider and after 21 years has planted 9+ million native trees across 475 biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand. Greenfleet’s supporters are some of Australia and New Zealand’s best known brands, using their funds to restore forests and offset carbon emissions on their behalf.
In this newly created role, reporting into the General Manager – Revegetation, the Contractor Manager will be responsible for supporting the business with operational overview of all partner contracts, negotiations and corporate governance to assist the business in further executing their projects. You will assist the Forestry team with ensuring any new or ongoing projects are properly reviewed, including assisting with identifying any infield partners to be approached to assist with project completion.
You will also be responsible for:
- Assessing current business partners and coordinating appropriate due diligence documentation
- Reviewing and assisting with any induction or OHS requirements for partners or internal staff members
- Actively collect and collate data metrics to assist with project reviews around cost allocation and compliance of key KPI’s from partners
- Coordinate with wider Forestry team to plan for future projects.
The suitable candidate will have a background working with similar challenges, ideally having managed contractor partners remotely and enjoy working in a close-knit team. You will be looking for a role that you can truly grow in, whilst having exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal). You will have strong analytical skills, be detail orientated and share a passion for Greenfleet’s mission and core objectives.
