Robert Walters are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the highly successful finance division in Melbourne with a focus on temporary and contract recruitment. This is an opportunity to join a leading global recruitment firm, learn from the best and work within a supportive and high performing team.

Responsibilities:
• Working within the finance team in Melbourne, focusing on contract recruitment. This is a warm portfolio for someone to hit the ground running and the successful candidate will be focused on maximising market share by delivering exceptional service to our existing clients and continuing to build new business relationships and long term partnerships outside of our existing client base
• Servicing, nurturing and developing client relationships through regular contact, meetings, client functions and events
• Understanding client's business operations and solving their recruitment needs through a consultative sales approach
• Selecting candidates for appropriate positions by understanding their needs, fully briefing candidates on the company and role and managing the interview process between candidate and client
• Taking responsibility for candidate care and keeping in regular contact with our active and placed candidates
• Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets with a focus on delivering value to our clients
• Acting as a mentor to more junior Consultants across the business
• Assisting team manager with key decisions, strategy and forecasting

Required Skills:
• Prior recruitment experience from a white collar discipline within an agency environment
• An in depth understanding of and ideally experience working in the Australian recruitment industry
• Strong proven experience in achieving and over achieving sales targets
• Innate drive to succeed
• Team based mind set
• A can do, positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong interest in consultative selling
• Work rights in Australia (we will consider candidates that need sponsorship if you have 5+ years of consistent agency recruitment experience)
