Recruitment Co-Ordinator

A growing and dynamic engineering company is looking for a Recruitment Co-ordinator.  This role has flexible working hours, working either full time or part time from Monday to Friday.

 

The Company:

Oberix group, established in 1992 in Melbourne, has grown to be a market leading provider of Building and Energy Management Systems with offices located across Australia and overseas. This position is based in the group's Head office, in Burwood, VIC.

 

The Role:

You will need to be flexible and focused to succeed in this highly autonomous role. You will be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process, including:

  • Advertising available positions within the group using a variety of media
  • Shortlising of suitable candidates based on their application
  • Initial screening of candidates by telephone
  • Arranging interviews with appropriate staff, following all stages of our established recruitment process
  • Reference checking
  • Ensuring offers are forwarded to successful candidates in a timely manner and the on boarding process is followed.
  • Ensuring new hires receive feedback from their team leader at the appropriate stage and following up the completion of this process

The suitable candidate will possess:

  • Solid recruitment experience in either an agency or internal environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence in dealing with people over the phone and face to face, and an ability to build rapport with staff and candidates at all levels
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An ability to work independently and to remain focused
  • A willingness and ability to learn on the job and to get to know the organisation, its staff and requirements
  • An ability to multi task and prioritise your own workload to align with the needs of the business
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality required by the position at all times
  •  An aptitude for learning and for understanding people in addition to the above requirements.
