Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a broad skill-set covering stakeholder management, manager coaching, case management, project management, engagement planning as well as building trusting relationship with the internal client group to support our people strategy and overall vision. This role sits within the wider HR team and reports directly to the Partner, Head of Human Resources.  We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player with a proven track record of success delivering people solutions and advice that meet strategic and operational business needs.

The Role:  

  • Provide both strategic and operational people solutions to an internal client group based across multiple sites (NSW, QLD and ACT)
  • Partner with the national and state leaders of the client group and build strong relationships with them
  • Participate in development and delivery of strategic people initiatives - a key focus will be the delivery of a people management program
  • Manage annual HR activities for the client group including remuneration review, promotion process and engagement survey
  • Identify opportunities for improvement with HR process and manage ad hoc projects
  • Provide support and work with other HR team members to get the best outcome for the business
  • 4 days a week - we can be flexible what days
  • The work location will be Sydney CBD, North Sydney and working from home with the weekly roster set within the HR team

The Person:

To be successful you will possess the following experience and qualifications:

 

Mandatory

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Commerce/ Business or related
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in human resources generalist role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in delivering training/workshops and strong presentation skills
  • Experience in managing strategic people projects
  • Experience in working with clients based in multiple sites
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and managing cases
  • Willingness to get involved in both operational and strategic HR work
  • Team focused
  • Ability to commence in late July /early August 2018
