About the opportunity
Our People Advisory Services Transactions practice supports clients in Australia and the Asia Pacific region to support clients through mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and divestments.
As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with EY teams across our diverse range of services, work with a broad range of clients and have access to a worldwide transactions team to solve HR and business issues. Your reputation will grow as you plan and deliver strategic HR projects and work with a diverse range of colleagues and clients. Typical assignments involve an analytical and commercial approach to Human Resources for due diligence, deal negotiations, divestment and separation, outsourcing, day one readiness and post-merger integration. This role will deliver large and small, complex client engagements that identify, design and implement M&A services for a wide variety of organisations.
In your role as a Manager in Mergers and Integration you will:
- Analyse workforce make up and strategy as well as remuneration and benefits, policies, plans and programs to identify impact of a transaction
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive HR due diligence reports which quantify risks, liabilities and integration challenges as well as provide technical guidance on employment related costs and opportunities
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams including the EY Transaction Advisory Services team to deliver integrated transaction services, analysis and insights
- Project manage HR workstreams on Australian and Asia Pacific regional engagements facilitating numerous HR sub-teams across several countries to deliver transaction integration solutions
- Develop and execute post-merger integration plans and separation plans, including transition strategies
