Reporting directly to the HR Manager and sitting within the People & Culture Team, the HR Advisor will support manage industrial relations (IR), employee relations (ER) and learning & development (L&D) requirements and projects across retail operations.
This HR generalist role will support retail operations through assisting frontline managers with driving high performance, potential grievances, writing and reviewing company policies and procedures, coordinating training initiatives and providing reports.
This support role will help champion support initiatives and continual change efforts that assist in the ongoing development and growth of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and support as the first point of contact for retail staff
- Advising on staff development
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR practices
- Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management
- Providing advice and assistance on policies and procedures
About you:
As an experienced HR Advisor you will be strategic, enabling, objective, discrete, flexible, motivational and organised. Using these traits, you will positively influence others towards high performance, calmly navigate sometimes difficult grievance situations and be proactive with your peers and within the wider business.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Psychology or Business majoring in human resources
- A valid driving licence and a vehicle
- 3 years' experience in an HR role
- Retail experience preferable
