The Jolly Miller Group is a family owned and operated hospitality business spanning across multi-site café venues and a food manufacturing operation in Victoria. The Jolly Miller offers employees job security, career growth and a great work environment and because of this, our organisation is growing towards nearly 200 employees. To continue on growing our business we are in need of a Senior HR Advisor / HR Consultant to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only upholds the Jolly Miller values but someone who could fit in with our team culture and is experienced within a wide range of HR issues.

 

About this amazing role…

At The Jolly Miller, we have an open environment so you will be reporting to our Stakeholders and the main purpose for this position is to support the effective implementation of the Human Resources Strategy which is consistent with our company vision and business plan. Some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing and overseeing email enquiries from The Jolly Miller employees and Managers
  • Providing IR and ER advise
  • Coaching and guiding managers both over the phone and face to face
  • Interpreting Awards and pay structures
  • Providing a strong focus on Performance Management
  • Assisting Managers with difficult terminations
  • Overseeing and performing HR Administration functions as needed
  • Providing outcome focused HR advise to Managers.

 

About you ….

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A tertiary qualification in HR
  • IR/ER case management experience
  • Solutions and outcome focused
