We are seeking an enthusiastic HR officer to support our service focused Business Partnering and Employee Relations team to provide best practice business partnering and employee relations support to our diverse business.  In this role you will provide generalist HR support across the whole business with a particular focus on employee relations. You will be supported and mentored in your role by a friendly and capable team of business partners and employee relations specialists.  You will report into the leader of the Business Partnering and Employee Relations team.
 
You will be expected to:
  • Support the business (with a particular focus on our commercial real estate business) with HR systems and processes including the recruitment and on boarding of new employees, the performance review process, compensation and benefit arrangements and other generalist HR business partnering tasks;
  • Provide support to the Business Partnering and Employee Relations team including assisting with drafting of letters relating to restructures, performance matters,  variations to employment contracts and witness statements for internal investigations;
  • Be a keen learner with an enthusiastic approach to assisting the Business Partnering and Employee Relations team.
 
This role is a generalist HR business partnering role where you will also be mentored in employee relations.
 
You will ideally have:
  • 2 + years’ experience working in an HR administrative or HR officer role;
  • A good working knowledge of business partnering best practice;
  • An interest in and a developing understanding of employee relations;
  • A focus on customer service and delivering best practice solutions;
  • A solutions focused mindset;
  • The emotional intelligence to develop strong and influential working relationships with the HR team and the broader business;
  • A friendly personality with a willingness to work proactively as part of a team; and
  • The confidence and capability to work independently.
