The Learning Experience Designer's major focus is on learning and development analysis and design. The role reports to the Assistant Director, Capability and Performance. The main purpose of the role is to support the team by designing high quality learning solutions across the full 70:20:10 spectrum, that build capability, improve performance and positively impact leadership growth and organisational culture.
As part of a busy team, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate multi-modal instructional design experience, preferably in a leadership development context.
Your new Role
The main responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
- Assisting with the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of engaging, results oriented learning solutions across the full 70:20:10 spectrum
- Liaising with external providers to ensure consistently, high quality product deliverables
- Assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of learning solutions to ensure programs are impactful, strengthen business practices, and improve culture and performance
- Support the maintenance of the learning management system (LMS)
- Identify opportunities to leverage on technology to drive performance improvements (such as LMS, Intranet etc)
- Ensuring all instructional design outputs meet accessibility standards
About You
- At least three years instructional design experience, preferably in a leadership development context, in a fast paced, high demand environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Learning and Development, Adult Education, Design or Communications
- A working knowledge of learning management systems
- Accessibility standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively in the design and implementation of best-practice learning and capability development initiatives
- Developing of e -Learning is not mandatory however a knowledge of e-learning design principles is an essential requirement.
