The Organisation:
This high profile and central Federal Government Department is responsible for measuring the views and opinions of all Australians to inform political decision alongside supporting and providing a range of informative and educational programs and activities.
The Opportunity:
The opportunity exists for a motivated and eager professional to join a small close knit team during a busy time of change and innovation! This area is currently implementing a web-based recruitment model which is due to go live on July 18 so this is the chance for you to utilise your strong organisational, multitasking and proactive skills to see the team succeed!
The Role:
Working as the APS4 Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for processing and providing advice on recruitment activities, including the advertising of positions, selection panel composition, applications, selection process outcomes and on-boarding requirements. In addition to this, you will be required to;
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of recruitment related training and templates
- Participate in, complete and provide support to recruitment projects as required.
- Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships, including liaising with stakeholders to assist in resolving moderately complex issues
The Person:
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in this role and utilise their experience working in a fast paced environment to effectively contribute as a part of this team. You will be a fast learner with the ability to understand new processes quickly. You will have an adaptable, flexible and professional approach to your workload along with a positive attitude!
In addition, you will communicate effectively and be confident when required to exercise judgement within reason.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check prior to commencement. An active Baseline Clearance will be high regarded. Australian Citizenship is mandatory in order to be considered.
The Salary:
$40 - $50/hr + 9.5% Super
