About the role
We are looking for a Recruitment Partner to help staff our latest project, Koodaideri. This role will work closely with the General Manager, Mine Manager and Operational Readiness team to recruit the first individuals for the project. These roles will work through campaign style recruitment and to tight project deadlines with the first wave of recruits to commence in July 2019. The role will provide a full end to end recruitment service from job brief, advertising, shortlisting, preparing for and running assessment centres through to monitoring the offers and on-boarding.
It is an exciting time at Rio Tinto with the upcoming ‘intelligent’ mine, Koodaideri. You will be involved at the forefront of the project and your proactive approach and project recruitment expertise will help to develop how we run and manage these campaigns, attract culturally aligned experts and build new relationships within these newly formed teams. Things will be challenging, slightly crazy, and constantly changing.
Reporting to the Superintendent Recruitment, flexible work arrangements can be considered for this 12 month fixed term opportunity. This Perth based role will be located in our newly refurbished offices in Central Park, where we have adopted an agile way of working, enabling us to work closer with all of our colleagues in HR and client groups.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Tenacity, patience and a high level of motivation to make things happen
- Experience managing a high volume job portfolio that will encompass both professional and operational disciplines, across an end to end recruitment process
- Significant recruitment experience gained in internal recruitment environments and ideally have worked on high volume recruitment campaigns
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential
