Medartis develops and produces high quality titanium implant systems and is committed to providing surgeons and operating theatre personnel in cranio-maxillofacial surgery, hand and plastic surgery as well as orthopaedic surgery with innovative implants, instruments and services.  We place the highest priority on maintaining stringent quality standards, continuous further development and innovation as well as comprehensive service provision for surgeons, and allied hospital staff.

Our international business is now looking for a full time HR Advisor to join our Australian subsidiary , located in Brisbane QLD.

In this role you will provide HR support for all AU NZ employees, assist the General Manager and both the  local and global business :

  • Support the provision of payroll services, leave management and accruals
  • Preparing Monthly reports for the GM and Global HR for review and record;
  • Responsibility for the on and off boarding processes as they relate to the induction, termination and payroll functions;
  • Updating relevant HR policies and procedures;
  • Managing employment contracts and policy for corporate compliance with local IR legislation
  • Knowledge of AU and NZ IR legislation that impacts the business
  • Initiating and supporting the GM with the recruitment process for all approved roles;
  • Implement staff training and development review documentation across the business
  • Involvement in the WHS requirements for the business with focus on our QMS 
  • Create and maintain accurate and organised employee files
  • Provide direction and support for Performance Management as required
  • Participate in local/global projects and events as required
  • Involvement in employee training for code of conduct and corporate compliance

To be successful in this role you will need to be a confident, autonomous and organised individual, with high attention to detail. Successful candidate requirements include:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources
  • HRIS experience (i.e. SAP, SuccessFactors) preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience, ideally in a multi-national company with international exposure
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Trusted capability with  sensitive/confidential information and situations;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and strong service orientation;
  • Ability to work in Australia, with AU and NZ relevant knowledge
