Our opportunity

Our national recruitment team are looking for an energetic recruitment specialist to join the People & Development team in Melbourne who will work proactively to attract the right talent for Allens.  You will partner with internal stakeholders and be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment for a variety of legal and shared services teams across our national network.  In this role you will also have responsibility for some key strategic resourcing projects, including .

Reporting to the National Resourcing Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with business leaders to define recruitment requirements at a strategic and tactical level;
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including role brief, direct advertising and sourcing using LinkedIn, shortlisting, interviews and reporting;
  • Building market maps to identify talent pipelines for strategic and future business hires;
  • Cultivate a pipeline of talent for the firm;
  • Manage the relationship of key recruitment agencies;
  • Contribute to strategic resourcing projects; and

About you

You will have demonstrated your ability to recruit leading talent in another organisation or recruitment agency. You will be willing to learn and develop bringing with you new ideas and new ways to go to market.  Your key experience and attributes will include:

  • End-to-end recruitment, managing multiple roles across multiple disciplines;
  • Direct sourcing using social media, talent pooling and networks;
  • Capacity to manage high-volume recruitment ;
  • Understand of psychometric testing tools;
  • Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills; and
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
