THE WHY”

We are looking for a highly collaborative, execution-focused HR leader who shares our passion for building strong teams from within.  Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for the regional execution of our global people and culture strategy and roadmap.  You will build programs, processes and infrastructure to support our explosive growth (100% YoY!) and help to develop and support our leaders so all Deputies have an engaging employee experience. "THE WHAT"

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to our APAC leaders on all things people and culture.  
  • This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Training & development, performance management, succession planning, organisational design, and change management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with both leadership and their teams by providing effective and thoughtful advice and coaching.
  • Administers both salary and performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organisation.
  • Tracks and reports on key indicators of employee effectiveness and satisfaction, including turnover, survey data, and demographic data.
  • Analyse trends and metrics to develop actions plans and policies.
  • Build a highly empathetic and customer service focused APAC People & Culture team that scales with Deputy over time.
  • Deploy Deputy’s global people and culture strategy regionally.
  • Partner with finance and legal, ensuring that our APAC people policies and practices comply with applicable laws, standards and best practices.
  • As a member of our APAC leadership team, contribute to our business strategy.

 

"THE HOW"

  • Previous experience leading HR for at least one high-growth business or business unit.
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels.
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to make timely, effective, ethics-based decisions.
  • Ability to write clear, concise and engaging employee communications.
  • Experience working closely with technical teams and product-oriented leaders.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining a fantastic culture through periods of hyper-growth
  • An open, available and approachable style.
  • A deep understanding of all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and coaching.
  • Experience creating and delivering training is preferred.
  • Experience in an HR leadership role for one or more global, distributed teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • The ability to translate vision into action.
  • Able to manage detail through simple systems and processes focused on accessibility and collaboration.
  • Must be humble, results-oriented, collaborative, and have a sense of humour and a strong EQ.
  • Exceptional influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
