McArthur currently has a vacancy for a Recruitment Consultant to join their close-knit team, working in the Canberra office. The role is available on a part-time, permanent basis.

Key duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • End to end recruitment of temporary and/or permanent staff
  • Manage and grow your client portfolio, including identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with new clients
  • Source new candidates via a multitude of channels and conduct thorough interviews
  • Maintain positive candidate relationships
  • Provide excellent service delivery to your portfolio of established relationships
  • Updating and maintaining candidate and client management systems
  • Preparing tenders, EOIs and other client documentation

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience working in recruitment, preferably in temporary white-collar recruitment (government recruitment experience would be an advantage also)
  • Confidence to establish and build new relationships
  • Adaptable and agile
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment but also work autonomously as required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
