McArthur currently has a vacancy for a Recruitment Consultant to join their close-knit team, working in the Canberra office. The role is available on a permanent, part-time basis.
Key duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:
- End to end recruitment of temporary and/or permanent staff
- Manage and grow your client portfolio, including identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with new clients
- Source new candidates via a multitude of channels and conduct thorough interviews
- Maintain positive candidate relationships
- Provide excellent service delivery to your portfolio of established relationships
- Updating and maintaining candidate and client management systems
- Preparing tenders, EOIs and other client documentation
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience working in recruitment, preferably in temporary white-collar recruitment (government recruitment experience would be an advantage also)
- Confidence to establish and build new relationships
- Adaptable and agile
- Ability to work well within a small team environment but also work autonomously as required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
