This position presents an opportunity for an individual who wishes to pursue their career in to HR and Remuneration & Benefits. You will bring Payroll Experience and this company will develop you in to Remuneration and Benefits and ultimately HR business Partnering. Fantastic opportunity.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working within a small highly engaged, close knit and energetic team.
- End to end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll including terminations and off cycle payments as required
- Responsible for accuracy of payroll and employee data
- Interpreting multiple awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and other allowances
- Opportunity to get involved in Remuneration review processes
- Assist on all taxation issues relating to conditions of employment
- Work alongside HR to create employee benefits to help build EVP
To be successful in this role, you will have a bright and energetic personality, whilst being able to “get on with it” and support the broader team. Your experience will include:
- End-to-end Payroll experience
- Supporting multiple team members, weekly, fortnightly and contractor timesheets.
- Data migration and payroll system experience (Ascender Ideal)
- Strong attention to detail and thorough understanding of legislative / statutory requirements
- Strong administration background preferably within the HR industry
- Exposure to Hay grading will begin you on The Rem & Ben journey
- The desire and ability to learn and develop in to the Remuneration & Benefits and ultimately HR Generalist space.
