My client founded in 2007, is a Cyber Security Specialist in Identity, Access, Governance. They work with some of Australia & New Zealand’s largest organisations within the financial, telecommunication, transportation and utilities sectors.

They have a headcount of 20 people now across the business, and one other BDM in Sydney who generates between 1.2 -2 M p.a. This role will purely be fixed on Sydney.

The current team includes experienced software engineers who have worked directly on the development of core cyber security products.

They partner with businesses such as IBM, Okta, SailPoint and Quest to provide services and they pride themselves on their client-focused, structured and collaborative approach. Essentially the business helps boost productivity and helps increase revenue and stay secure.

The client draws on its strong industry experience to design, deliver and manage customised IT solutions aligned to our clients’ business goals.

 

Role

This position is a 50 /50 mix with being a well rounded commercial recruiter and also strong at building relationships and can drive new business with potential clients. The right person will ensure that client has the best cybersecurity talent available to service its current & future clientele (banking, telecom etc). They are ideally looking for someone who has a passion and a good understanding about the IT services industry. The role itself is very well suited to someone who is a strong self-starter and someone who is happy to work in a business that is very agile and nimble from a structure perspective. It presents a rare and valuable opportunity to leverage past experience in recruitment and be apart of a business that is growing dramatically over the next 2 years, and also work within the very niche area of Cybersecurity.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

You will work towards building both the demand & supply side of the Augmentation Services business and report directly to the Head of Managed Services. The key role responsibilities include:

 

Demand/Business Generation

 

  • Working with leadership to develop strategies for Augmentation Services growth
  • Articulating the value of Augmentation Services within prospective and existing customer accounts
  • Working with the customers & prospects to become a trusted advisor to meet their Cybersecurity skill & talent needs
  • Generating demand for Augmentation Services through organic & in-organic means including speaking to current customers, word of mouth, cold-calling, networking events, LinkedIn etc
  • Owning Services pursuits (booking quota in the form of Staff Augmentation) and revenue performance in designated territory
  • Working closely with Sales & Business Development Manager to facilitate cross or upsell of services, products and staff augmentation into accounts
  • Using CRM to log, document & forecast in-flight and new services opportunities

Supply/Candidate Sourcing

  • Assisting with framework development for talent sourcing, interviewing & hiring
  • Participate in recruitment efforts using best practice methods
  • Facilitating and working with Services Admin to provide operational support to successfully complete and operationalise staff augmentation engagements
  • Generate “supply side” demand by using creative and out of box techniques such as hosting events, attending technical conferences and actively networking with industry
  • Participate with team to assist buildout Augmentation Services methodologies, processes, offerings and collateral
  • Act as Augmentation Services point of contact and aid ongoing engagements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field (Operations, Accounting, Finance, IT or similar)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the recruitment, managed services/outsourcing industry in a mid-level service delivery, project management or account management capability
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail
  • Have a strong established network within IT sector.
  • Expert interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and qualities
  • Ability to thrive in complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Prior recruitment, account management or service delivery experience highly desirable
  • Occasional domestic travel, less than 20%

Salary- 100-130k + Super + Bonus
