Who we need
We are currently seeking for a WHS Officer to ensure that Goodwin operates safely and complies with all relevant legislation on WHS matters. This role is responsible for the administration and communication of Goodwin’s safety policies, and provides safety expertise for management and employees, undertakes risk assessments, hazard and incident investigations and works to mitigate high-risk work activities.
We are primarily aiming to employ a WHS Officer with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of ACT/NSW legislation, regulations, standards and Codes of Practice and a previous experience in similar capacity.
To be successful in this role, you must be energetic, positive and enthusiastic in providing safety advice, support and coaching on WHS best practices and risk management. You must have the ability to promote and coordinate the delivery of the organisations’ WHS policies, procedures and initiatives. Minimum Certificate IV in WHS is required for this role. Candidates with Training qualifications and experience is preferred.
