The Role

At Suncorp, we are building the workforce and workspace of the future. As part of the extension of our fluid way of working there is a permanent opportunity for a Workforce Advisor to monitor the resource allocation and capacity of the team, ensuring resource optimisation across the strategic initiatives and projects being delivered to create a better today for Suncorp’s stakeholders. This position plays an integral role in successfully delivering extended Fluid structure.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Manager – People Experience (HR), you will be required to:

  • Undertake forecasting of capacity with understanding of our future program of work and resource needs
  • Own the processes, tools and templates to support resource estimation and requesting processes
  • Validate and understand client needs for work requests (capacity and capability)
  • Identify resourcing solutions for work requests, negotiate outcomes or optionality as needs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure resourcing solutions offered are timely, relevant and meet client needs
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders to collaborate on resourcing solutions
  • Completion of capacity reporting to support client conversations
  • Reporting of capacity insights to support prioritisation decision making

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in workforce planning underpinned by excellent communication and analytical skills. Ideally, you will also demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and capacity management (circa 5+ years)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills to find and recommend resourcing solutions and options
