An exceptional role exists for a results driven and safety focused specialist to join our team in TLC Healthcare's Head Office in Melbourne.
The Safety Advisor will foster a culture where safe work practices are the norm. Working collaboratively and consultatively across the organization, the Safety Advisor will:
- proactively and effectively implement, evaluate and improve risk management policies and programs;
- train employees in occupational health and safety procedures;
- monitor and audit TLC workplaces to manage OHS risks and compliance;
- record and investigate incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.
Key to your success in this role will be:
- Tertiary or vocational qualification in safety or related field
- Demonstrated experience in managing Occupational Health and Safety Systems
- Practical knowledge of self-insurance requirements
- Experience auditing against the Nat V3 tool
- Strong interpersonal and communication and influencing skills
- Highly developed computer literacy and excellent skills in data analysis and reporting
- Current satisfactory Police Check Certificate
- Flexible and innovative approach to OHS and Injury Management
