We are currently seeking a Director, Group Remuneration that will be based in our Sydney Head Office. Serving as the 2IC to the VP, Total Reward in Las Vegas, the position will work closely with cross functional leadership to build and implement solutions that align with the current and future business strategies.

In this role, you will take carriage of the day to day operation of the remuneration function for the group and land based businesses driving the reward strategy. As a true advisor and business partner, you will be responsible for all remuneration matters across the group and land based business, including but not limited to sales incentive plans, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, equity allocations and managing vendor relationships.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team to ensure that all remuneration programs align with the strategic goals of the company and support driving a high-performance culture by attracting, rewarding and retaining top talent
  • Partner with the CHRO to engage with the Board on remuneration matters
  • Review, evaluate, redesign and manage the executive remuneration programs (base, incentive, and equity) by collaborating with CEO, CHRO and with outside consultants to ensure they are performance driven, market competitive, appropriately leveraged, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated.
  • Participate in the development and drive the execution of broad based remuneration processes and initiatives such as incentive plans, competitive and ad hoc analyses, projects and reporting
  • Lead the implementation of consistent global remuneraiton and HR policies/ initiatives across the group (e.g. Annual Review, promotions, job leveling, etc.).
  • Develop quantitative models to assess competitive practice and the organization's competitive position for specific programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client group Human Resource Business Partners and Managers to ensure effective communication of remuneration strategies.
  • Formulate recommendations regarding changes to the company salary structure.
  • Partner with HR teams to support execution, sharing/transfer of knowledge, increase understanding of international issues and all aspects and considerations around remuneration programs and practices.
  • Responsible for the management of, and the strategy behind, the Group’s global mobility policy
  • Assist with due diligence and post M&A activities to ensure program and job harmonization.
  • Manage two Remuneration Analysts to support the delivery of the above

What we're looking for

  • Extensive in corporate compensation with notable experience and aptitude with sales compensation design and management
  • Previous experience in a consulting role prior to transitioning in to corporate world would be ideal.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proven leader in Project Management, analysis, and client advising
  • Passion for the full total rewards/ compensation landscape
  • Ability to engage and influence at board level
  • Enjoys partnering with all levels within the business
  • Excellent planning, organising and execution capability.
