The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers support for about 460,000 Australians in a variety of ways. As part of its commitment to roll out the world’s leading service, an exciting opportunity has become available at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).


NDIA’s role is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme which ensures people with disability continue to get the vital support they need. The Organisational and Human Resources Advisor will incorporate all aspects of human resources, from on-boarding and talent management, to learning and development, and staffing trends.

You will utilise your experience in complex organisations and working with diverse stakeholders to design and implement impactful initiatives and monitor performance and culture. Ideal candidates will be driven by the desire to make a difference within the organisation by providing quality training and learning outcomes. Your role will go hand in hand with the traditional HR functions and help provide the framework for NDIA in the future.

This is a newly created position within the NDIA on a contract basis in Geelong. Answering to the Assistant Director - Capability and Performance, this will be the ideal role for Human Resources professionals with a passion for organisational change. You will be proficient in applications like SharePoint, Learning Management Systems, MS Office and be a database super user.

This is an exciting role to be part of a busy team in a multi-dimensional capacity. On a daily basis you will be dealing with various teams within NDIS / NDIA and external stakeholders. You will be part of an organisation makes an enormous contribution to the life of people with disabilities and their families.
