Work with Head of Human Resources to recruit and retain employee talent, deliver legislatively compliant human resource systems and processes and to provide accurate, practical and timely solutions to employee issues.

Description

• In consultation with Head of HR draft and implement HR procedure and process
• Work with Head of HR to manage the implementation of policy & procedure in the areas of HR
• Work with Head of HR to implement the learning & development requirements of the business
• Work with the senior staff & supervisors to recruit, select & engage employees
• Maintain the Company’s PeopleSoft data & work with managers to ensure position descriptions are reviewed & up to date
• Assist Head of HR to prepare letters of offer, contracts of employment & employment documentation for new employee; Communicate the arrival of new employees to the business
• Work with Managers to ensure they monitor their new employees through their probationary period including undertaking their Evaluation for Permanence
• Support managers & supervisors to manage grievance & disciplinary processes & respond to employee relations issues as they arise
• Conduct Exit Interviews with departing staff and report quarterly on staff feedback

Profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
• Experience in drafting Human Resource policies and processes
• Experience in working with managers to negotiate sensitive issues to achieve mutually acceptable outcomes
• Experience in interpreting and administering awards and enterprise agreements
