The Opportunity
Located at our Keysborough office, the role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner. The HR Business Partner will engage and work closely with Managers and Supervisors to deliver a range of HR business partnering activities and projects, backed by a large team of HR professionals and specialists. The successful candidate will be solution focused and deliver, among other duties, advice and guidance on People policies and ER/IR matters, coaching, training, reporting and effective execution of annual processes. As a values driven individual, your passion for cultural change and supporting business initiatives is crucial.
Who are you?
As the successful candidates you possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification (Degree or Certificate)
- Highly competent PC skills with ability to utilise a range of software packages
- Ability to prepare management and other reports to a high standard
- Excellent organisational, writing and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail to ensure that high quality work leaves the department
- Ability to work under pressure and to coordinate the input of others
- Able to work in a discreet manner and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Team and service focussed with a “Can Do” attitude
- Outstanding self-management and prioritisation skills
- Sound analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in Human Resources
- Proven record of successfully managing upwards
- Sound negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
- Previous experience working within the utilities industry and/or a unionised environment (desirable, but not essential)
