We currently have a vacancy in the Kmart Safety and Injury Services Team. The role, based in Western Australia, is for a Health and Rehabilitation Specialist who enjoys a challenge and is committed to achieving results with the opportunity to impact positively on the health and wellbeing of our Kmart Store employees.

You will primarily be responsible for the injury management of medium to high risk return to work cases and assisting the injury services team to maintain and monitor compliance issues across multiple sites and states (intra and interstate travel required).

Through the facilitation of early intervention and innovative return to work outcomes you will contribute to the overall success of the organisational goals in relation to claims reduction and sustainable outcomes. You will also provide support to facilitate and coordinate training and coaching programs to ensure that site managers are equipped with skills and expertise to implement developed health and rehabilitation initiatives.

To be successful you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a medical, health or related area;
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management and workplace based rehabilitation, preferably in a self-insured environment;
  • Experience delivering and facilitating training;
  • Amazing time management skills and demonstrated expertise in undertaking effective work and process planning;
  • Ability to influence practitioners in the Workers Comp and personal illness setting;
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and manage a multi-site work environment;
  • Strong skills in MS Office particularly EXCEL in both the development and maintenance of recording and reporting tools.
