The Company

The role

They are currently looking for an HR Business Partner (6 months contract) to provide generalist HR advice and support to the organisation across a broad range of operational areas and partner with Managers and Supervisors in delivering strategic HR strategies.


Key Responsibilities includes:

• Recruitment – provide advice and guidance on recruitment activities;
• Salary Administration – Establishment management, new position requests and approvals job evaluations (re-grades/re-designs);
• Performance Management – staff matters, investigations, disciplinary and day to day coaching, performance appraisals;
• Policy review and implementations;
• Business Partner meetings – each BP has a portfolio of departments they manage, and they respond to the requests of the managers/supervisors/staff on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field;
• A successful record in business partnering within a large and diverse organisation;
• Demonstrated experience in staff performance management
• Experience in providing coaching to managers and supervisors extensive generalist HR knowledge;
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills;
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR matters in a Local Government environment (desirable)
