Are you excited by the prospect of establishing a learning and development function in a broad and varied community organisation? We have an opportunity for you to apply your skills and experience to develop and deliver material that will benefit the community through supporting and skilling members, volunteers and employees.
The Role:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for developing, planning and facilitating the delivery of training and learning and development initiatives that support member, volunteer and employee capability and development across the Society. These responsibilities are aligned with the Society’s strategic direction.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in planning and executing learning and development initiatives, systems and behavioural change for a changing organisation, with national presence.
- Contemporary knowledge of the learning and development environment and practices.
- Innovative, collaborative and positive team-orientated
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Proficient in MS Excel and general MS Office suite and LMS/eLearning platforms
- Demonstrated high quality analytical, research and conceptual skills including practical problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change in work priorities, style and environment and to show initiative and creativity by offering a fresh perspective on issues
- Effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, including effectively communicating with stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds and groups
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on information at all times
- Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation
- The successful applicant must hold or be eligible to obtain a National Criminal History Check clearance
