The opportunity?
As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, you will work for a strategically focused safety team within Toll, you will be responsible for developing a Global HSE risk framework and project managing the Global HSE risk profile within Toll. This role focuses on leading and supporting organisational change to achieve a positive safety culture and achievement of HSE objectives and targets.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Developing, maintaining and continually improving the Global HSE Management System including policies, strategy and governance and generating and project managing written standards.
- Working with Divisional & Business Unit leaders to develop HSE competencies within the business.
- Leading and supporting organisational change by integrating HSE initiatives into all relevant activities to achieve a positive safety culture and applicable HSE objectives and targets.
- Partnering with L&OD to design, develop and manage HSE training programs that meet Global HSE Management System requirements, compliance obligations and qualifications frameworks where appropriate.
- Supporting the development, delivery and implementation of Group HSE programmes as required to meet the Toll and HSE Strategy.
The ideal candidate?
You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with exemplary knowledge of HSE legislative and compliance requirements. A background in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly regarded. You will possess superior negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus. Commercially astute and strategic in approach you will have a successful track record of designing, developing and implementing HSE Management Systems and Programmes.
