Due to increasing work demands, we are seeking a motivated HR professional to join our expanding HR team that is looking to return back to the workforce on a permanent part-time basis. This will provide an opportunity for you to re-establish your career under a flexible arrangement.

Reporting to the General Manager HR – IPD & Rolling Stock Services, you will be supporting our Infrastructure Projects Division by actively assisting, coaching and facilitating the business leaders to manage HR requirements and to grow the business in line with their business goals. You will be integral to the consolidation of existing projects and will play a significant role in their success and the realisation of future opportunities.

The role will be based in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, with some travel to our project sites. You will work collaboratively and actively as part of your immediate and broader HR team network predominantly spread throughout Australia.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree qualified or equivalent: Human Resources and/or Business.
  • Experience gained in Construction sectors, ideally in Resources, Roads or Rail Infrastructure will be highly regarded.
  • Strategically focused to support capability without compromising on process and policy
  • Demonstrable and successful 'hands on' experience in a related human resources management / business partnering role
  • Demonstrated ability to handle, influence and understand challenging stakeholders and have the drive and tenacity to win them over with the value of true HR Business Partnering capability.
  • Ability to build and maintain broad knowledge and understanding of our business environment and strategies; translating these into specific HR strategy and value adding solutions.
  • The capability to understand the IR landscape, legislation and to negotiate EA’s end to end.
  • Experience in conducting investigations to best practice standards.
  • Able to provide advice and support around performance management, problem solve and identify solutions.
  • Ability to establish local, diversity and inclusion recruitment and traineeship programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership that strives towards the commitment to Zero Harm.
