Our client has experienced exciting internal promotions within the business and now seeking a professional human resources business partner to support their largest regional site in Castlemaine - only being 100 minutes out of the city. A house hold brand across the FMCG industry with a newly built site and impressive facilities which is a real drawcard in attracting top talent. The company has placed some of the most advanced technology and machinery from overseas to create a world class manufacturing operation.
Based in regional Victoria, this critical role will partner closely with the functional directors across two sites and although stand-alone, will be supported by a corporate HR team in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and Mentor business leaders
- Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures and help build a safety culture across the teams
- Consult with and advise managers and employees on relevant HR policies and procedures.
- Support two Enterprise Agreements and participate in renegotiation as required
- Provide support and advice to leaders to build a high performance culture through workplace investigation, managing poor performance, training & development activities
- Work in partnership with HR functional teams and senior executive and leadership teams to build leadership capability
About You:
- Significant experience in Human Resources partnering across an organisation
- Experience within a blue-collar operation or site-based environment
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of business and to engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial relations, Business Studies or commensurate experience.
This role will suit a passionate HR professional with a desire to deliver outstanding service within a blue collar environment. To succeed you will be suitably qualified and experienced in developing client-focused and adaptable HR initiatives and programs. Your ability to contribute in a team environment and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation will be a given.
