About the role

Our WH&S team is expanding and we’ve created a new role in the small team based in Sydney but with a national focus.  Reporting to the National SHEQ Manager, your new job will involve:

  • Assisting in developing, implementing and maintaining the WHS Management System
  • Supporting WHS risk reduction programs and conducting risk assessments
  • Conducting incident investigations and reviews and ensure completion of actions
  • Compiling WHS documentation and maintaining records including various registers
  • Conducting internal audits, recording performance data & preparing reports
  • Ensuring contractors are compliant with WHS documentation
  • Coordinating and delivering WHS training and inductions
  • Actively participating in the WHS Committee and work groups
  • Providing WHS advice and information to management
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of SWMS, procedures and other safety and quality documents

Who are we?

Kingspan Environmental manufactures, delivers and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to the residential, commercial and rural clients.  In Australia, we have sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Denilliquin, Brisbane and Perth and deliver tanks right around the country as well as overseas.

You’ll be joining a friendly and professional team based in Sydney’s HO, who are passionate about continuous improvement and developing and promoting a strong proactive safety culture.

You will..

  • Cert IV in WHS Management or equivalent
  • Have 3+ years experience in blue collar environment
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of SHEQ management systems (AS9001, AS4801, ISO 14001)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in writing SWMS and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting audits, investigations and reviews
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel

Ideally, you’ll also have..

  • Auditor qualifications;
  • Previous experience in the light metal fabrication industry
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
  • Experience of working with people at all levels of ability and from different cultures and backgrounds.
