THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to team growth and an internal promotion Ampcontrol is offering you the opportunity to continue your administrative career as our HR Systems Administrator within our People team located at our head office in Tomago NSW.

We are a collaborative service-oriented team that is responsible for providing high quality People services to our national operations within core streams of HR services, Recruitment and Learning & Development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

With a professional and enthusiastic manner you will be involved in supporting everything we do; ensuring day-to-day functions and services are maintained and contributing to key projects as required.

Your main tasks will consist of the data input and system maintenance of our HRIS and intranet, maintaining the remuneration systems, compiling data for monthly/adhoc reporting, document generation, data management for personnel and training records, general administrative support for the HR team as well providing key support to the annual salary review processes and related data management.

Central to the role will be your ability to work in a professional environment and perform multiple and routine tasks whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and strict confidentiality at all times.

You will need to be able to multi task, as daily you will juggle several tasks all at once, yet ensure everything is done right and quality is assured.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You are a positive, proactive and customer oriented person possessing:

  • High level administrative and organisational skills;
  • A systematic and process-oriented approach;
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and display initiative;
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills;
  • Strong computer skills and advanced proficiency with MS applications (especially Excel and Visio);
  • Aptitude for figures and strong numeracy skills.

Previous experience in HR or payroll environments will be highly advantageous as would exposure to HRIS maintenance and development.

EDUCATION

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced level certification in Microsoft Excel - Advantageous
