This is a unique opportunity for an HR Manager to join a family owned business within ongoing growth, a turnover of 20 million and a staff of 28. The role is based in their Cannon Hill office.
About the role
Our Client seeks a seasoned HR Manager to work alongside their management team providing an informed, professional and efficient advice on all aspects of human resources management and strategy, as determined by the CEO. This includes partnering with senior staff to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions in relation to organisational development, culture and change to deliver outcomes and manage issues. The HR Manager ensures that the delivery of programs and initiatives is closely aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
Responsibilities
HR Administration and managing all aspects of including -
- Proactive sourcing, recruitment support and the on boarding of high calibre staff
- Setting up, updating and maintaining HR systems and databases
- Develop, negotiate, prepare and maintain Employment Contracts
- Assist with establishment and maintenance of pay scales
- Performance management and improvement systems;
- Compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees;
- Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training;
- Employee relations;
- Company-wide committee facilitation;
- Compensation and benefits administration;
- Business etiquette training
- Payroll/ fortnightly pay run
- Policy & Procedure
- WHS Management Plan

What you need to have
- Our Ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in Human Resources or equivalent and have a solid background of 5 years plus in HR as an Advisor/Manager position.
- Ability to set up an HR function from scratch, project manage and implement
- Excellent IT systems, the ability to implement the necessary systems to support the HR function
