Australasian Dental Group (ADG) is looking for a highly qualified Human Resource Manager to join our dental group to provide Human Resource support and leadership for the management and employees. The role is to manage ADG’s HR program and policies, including recruitment, retention, workforce planning, employee relations and performance review etc.

It required someone who is able to cope with demanding priorities and different needs of each dental practices in the group and who can be depended upon to think decisively and work professionally even under pressure.

Australasian Dental Group is a managing company of different dental practices mainly in WA and a few in other states. It offers several support services to all acquired dental practices namely: administrative, human resources, accounting, payroll, IT, marketing and web and graphic design.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role is to lead the Human Resource and Admin Department and will cover an array of admin and HR activities to support all the dental practices of ADG:

  • Managing the recruitment of staff for all dental practices.
  • Managing the onboarding and induction process making sure that these are in line with the ADG policies across the practices in the group.
  • Identifying and continue developing human resource policies and procedures as included in the ADG Employee Manual.
  • Providing timely and professional advice to Practice Managers and staff in relation to all HR, industrial and employee relations matters.
  • Managing the performance management system for Practice Managers and staff and coordinating this across all dental practices in the group.
  • Supporting the Management with workforce planning and change management.
  • Handles investigation and resolution of employee issues and concerns.
  • Managing the maintenance of historical HR records by designing a filing and recording system that keeps past and current records.
  • Supervising both HR and admin sections of the company.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Human Resource Manager or similar. Ideally, you will have a degree in Human Resources Management. It is also preferred for you to have a background in dental or medical industry and experience working in a small corporate group or similar.

You should be highly organised and with the ability to be decisive in handling different circumstances and handle the pressure that the work requires. You will also have strong collaboration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
