Rivet Energy Aviation is part of the Rivet Group, a nationwide specialist Transport and Logistics provider. Our Aviation division provides specialist technical labour and services for aircraft refueling at Tullamarine Airport in Victoria and Adelaide Airport in South Australia. Our team operate specialised refueling equipment on the ground to refuel aircraft, as well as manage fuel farms (JUHI) at each of the sites.
We have created a new senior leadership role in our Aviation business, requiring an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team in a strongly safety auditing and risk management focused role, with the addition of operational leadership accountability.
This is the next step in your Health and Safety career, with the inclusion of Operational leadership.
Duties will include:
- Leadership of the Aviation Division, with Operations Managers from each site (Adelaide and Tullamarine), reporting through to this position
- Development, continuous improvement and compliance of Health, Safety, Environment & Training Strategy and processes
- Provide support and guidance to direct reports
- Site auditing and safety inspections
- Risk management
- Review and development of SOP’s and training materials
- Provision of professional HSE & Training advice
- ICAM Investigations
- Implementation of corrective actions.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Tertiary qualification in Management preferred but not essential
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a safety management position
- Highly developed communication skills
- Intermediate computer literacy
- ICAM training.
All candidates must supply a recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old), and have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.
