We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Officer temp in Parramatta with an immediate start for 12 month fixed term. This is a dynamic role which will keep you busy and challenged.

Key requirements & experience:

1. New Employees, Terminations
2. End to End payroll
3. Identify and resolve payroll process exceptions and compliance issues
4. Provide analysis and reporting on scheduled reports and on an ad-hoc basis to identify opportunity areas
5. Redundancies, deed settlements 
6. Variations to Employment
7. Leave Processing / Deductions / Allowances / bonuses / Choice of Super
8. Statutory Third Party Payments / Management (i.e. Payroll Tax, Super, Workcover, Centrelink, PAYG Remittance)
9. Over payment calculations and management including Salary Packaging 
10. Month End / Year End reconciliations/processing

In addition to the above, we are seeing experience with the following:

1. Manual pay calculations;
2. Award/Contractual Interpretation
3. High volume processing including timesheet processing / T&A interaction
4. Payroll reporting in reconciliations (HR/Finance/Accounting)
5. Audit & Compliance Understanding
6. Query management / resolution / Customer Service
7. Ability to work autonomously or in a team, attention to detail/accuracy, ability to problem solve
8. SAP experience as well as other programs such as People soft
