The Company
Our client is a well-known, global FMCG organisation based in the inner Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this Human Resources Manager will be responsible for both the day-to-day operation and long term strategy of the HR function. The successful candidate will ensure consistency and best practice in relation to employee relation's policies, practices and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to senior management on the full range of matters including Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Disciplinary Matters and Industrial Relations;
- Ensure the smooth transition process for business acquisitions;
- Maintenance and development of Policies and procedures;
- Proactively assist, coach, and support managers and employees with resolving Human Resource related matters;
- Lead development and implementation of various HR projects and initiatives;
- Contractor management;
- Salary reviews;
- Recruitment;
- On-boarding of new recruits and off-boarding exiting employees;
- Demonstrated experience in unifying businesses during acquisitions
- Prior experience in a HR Management position
- Ambitious and proactive attitude;
- Strong influencing skills;
- Tertiary education in HR or related
