The Client

Our client within a Federal Government agency is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join a small recruitment team. They will be responsible for providing high quality, tailored and timely recruitment services. This position is based in Canberra.

The Role 

You will be responsible for providing high quality, tailored and timely recruitment services.

If successful your duties will include but aren’t limited to:

• Administration of high quality, timely recruitment processes and services
• Supporting the relocations process to Canberra for incoming Patent Examiners,
• Preparing accurate and at times complex correspondence to both internal and external clients. Such correspondence includes but not limited to: letters of offer, notices of engagement, business cases and detailed email advice.
• Contributing to the ongoing review of practices and procedures within the Recruitment Team
• Interpreting and adhering to the various legislation and guidelines governing recruitment and the APS, such as the Public Service Act 1999, Public Service Regulations.
• Representing the Recruitment Team at internal business meetings.

Qualifications or experience in Human Resource Management, specifically in a recruitment team essential.
