INTERNAL RECRUITMENT CO-ORDINATOR

Vitex Pharmaceuticals is Australia's largest manufacturer of solid-dose complementary medicines with a focus on quality and efficiency. We are based in Eastern Creek in a brand new state-of-the-art facility with wonderful staff amenities; and due to unprecedented growth are seeking new talent to join our rapidly growing team. We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Internal Recruitment Co-ordinator on a permanent full-time basis. 

The Internal Recruitment Co-ordinator will work closely with our Chiefs and HR team to manage the full recruitment process in line with our growth strategy; including sourcing, interviewing and employment processes. To be successful in this role, the Internal Recruitment Co-ordinator should have an HR and/or Recruitment academic background, and experience screening, interviewing and evaluating candidates, in particular blue collar and/or manufacturing industry recruitment. Candidates should also be knowledgeable about labor legislation. The ideal candidate will be pro-active and able to make effective decisions quickly. The Internal Recruitment Co-ordinator will manage our recruitment to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our company's current and future staffing needs. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on involvement in the full end-to-end recruitment process
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting)
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Coordinate with department Chiefs to forecast future hiring needs within budgetary and operational limitations
  • Stay current regarding labor legislation and changes in regulations
  • Participate in relevant job fairs and career events
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an internal recruit co-ordinator, particularly in Blue Collar recruitment
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening, evaluation, due diligence and thorough reference checking
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (eg LinkedIn)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Strong decision-making and time management skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (eg Business, HR, Psychology, Organisational Behaviour or a Recruitment qualification)
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry as well as local experience and networks will be well-regarded.
