L&D Project Officer job in Geelong, full time hours, minimum 12 month contract. Immediate start.
YOUR NEW COMPANY
This Government organisation in Geelong requires an experienced L&D Officer to join their team for a minimum of 6 Months.
YOUR NEW ROLE
The primary purpose of this position is to provide consultancy services and specialist advice to the business in determining learning needs and designing and delivering core learning programs, to maximise people capability and performance. You will also be involved in the design and delivery of content and initiatives that will support the management of talent pools and succession planning. In addition you will also identify eLearning opportunities ensuring content and processes are consistent with the Organisation and are effective for the end user. As a part of this project you will develop strong review and testing processes to create functional training products and support tools.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
You will be responsible for communicating and consulting with managers, HR business partners and technical trainers. You will develop and implement tools to measure and evaluate program effectiveness and return on investment, project manage course and module development as well as training delivery schedules. You will also maintain up to date learning and development records and lead the continuous improvement of core training programs and resources. Experience in curriculum design and implementation within a professional services environment would be highly regarded. Certificate IV in assessment and workplace Training and relevant tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded.
