The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is a not for profit, membership based organisation leading the way in surgical performance, professionalism and patient care in Australia and New Zealand.

The Role (0.8 or Full Time)

As our new HR Business Partner you will join a fun and dedicated HR team of 5.  A newly appointed HR Manager means there is a real focus on process simplification, business transformation and employee engagement.

This is a rare opportunity to be a part of culture change and demonstrating to the business the true value of a modern HR function through a positive lens.

You will work alongside a second HR Business Partner to be the first point of contact for all HR queries including supporting the development of leadership capability, growing employee engagement and coaching employees on how to be their best.

Projects you will be involved include the revamping of our induction program, the implementation of a Leadership Development Program and an ongoing culture and values program for all staff.

The Person

You will have 3+ years experience in a generalist HR role and an enthusiasm to develop your Business Partnering skills.  You will be positive, warm and engaging and have the communication skills required to work effectively with everyone. 

With so many opportunities to partner with the business you will have a keen eye for innovation and a desire to see your ideas through to a successful completion. 

Your track record in developing great relationships with stakeholders means you know how to develop solutions with others that are solution focused.
