Where you will be working
At Murrumbidgee Local Health District we provide a range of public health services to the Riverina and Murray regions of New South Wales across a geographic area of approximately 125,631 square kilometres. With around 241,000 residents living within our District we employ approximately 3,500 staff who work in our 31 facilities and support services. Our facilities include a Rural Referral Hospital, Base and District Hospitals, Multi-Purpose Services and Community Health Facilities.
What you will be doing
- The StaffLink Establishment Officer is responsible for the reviewing and updating the position organisation in StaffLink, including ensuring that positions are appropriately approved and formally established and comply with MLHD Policy and NSW Health Industrial Awards.
- The position is responsible for assisting with education and support to managers in the maintenance of their position organisation and staffing establishment and has a key role in co-ordinating system changes.
- The role plays a key role in co-ordinating the build for any organisational change to positions and position hierarchies.
Selection Criteria
- Proven ability to develop and implement new business processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of StaffLink system/other HRIS functionality or proven ability to quickly learn systems.
- Ability to work across the organisation and interact with managers and staff and carry out work with minimal supervision
